Born and raised in Brazil, Adriano brought his passion for live-fire cooking to South Australia — where it found new ground to flourish. A three-year tenure as a chef honed his recipe development skills and a deep appreciation for the fusion of flavours and textures.
He entered the competitive BBQ scene by chance, combining an engineering background with cooking instincts. Competing in the SCA since 2016, Adriano fuses Brazilian roots with experience across North America, Europe, and Australia — a global pitmaster with a South American soul.
His collaborative videos have amassed over 1 million combined views, earning Video of the Year from both the Australian Barbecue Awards and the National Barbecue & Grilling Association USA.
